PIONEERS TUMBLE TO SOUTHERN DISTRICTS!
The "Star FM" Pioneers have
been defeated by the very impressive Southern Districts
Spartans at the IceHosue Friday night. The game also marked
Damien Anderson's return to the IceHouse in opposition
uniform.
The Spartans got the break early and there was no looking
back for the league's new entrant as they raced to a 31
point lead at half time.
The Pioneers were paced once again by Dallas Jeffree and
Ryan Blankson who both contributed 22 points each. Chris
Mason was also in form adding 12 points for the home team.
Gerard Leonard and Chris Goulding lead the visitors with 19
and 18 points respectively whilst their complete rotation
all contributed to the 28 point win. The Spartans were
without Chris Williamson and Adam Gibson.
The Pioneers now must travel to the nation's capital to take
on the AIS and the Canberra Gunners.
The Pioneers next home game is on the 6th April against the
Kilsyth Cobras. This isn't just any game, it's the clubs
500th in the SEABL - BE THERE & BE LOUD!
