PIONEERS GO 0-2 IN OPENING ROAD DOUBLE

Going up against former Pioneer Damien Anderson was never going to be an easy task especially in his new teams first SEABL match in front of their home crowd. And that was the case, Southern Districts got the jump early on the Pioneers who struggled for the entire 48 minutes.

Ryan Blankson was the main contributor for the Pioneers adding 24 of the teams 75 for the game. Chris Mason was also a valuable contributor for the Pioneers in a night which the team would must prefer to put behind them as they search for their first victory in 2007.

Greg Vanderjagt and Chris Goulding were dominant for the Spartans in what was a very impressive performance minus Chris Williamson and Adam Gibson who are still enjoying the sweet success of the Brisbane Bullets NBL Championship.
