Despite a 30 point effort from 2006 MVP Dallas Jeffree, the Star FM Pioneers have been defeated by the Hobart Chargers in the 2007 Season Opener at the IceHouse Friday night.

Robert Inches along with Mark Nash and Anthony Stewart did most of the damage for the Chargers whilst the Pioneers posted pleasing numbers across the board which would have been pleasing for coach Jason Sedlock and his staff. Sedlock is still awaiting confirmation for his Australian citizenship before he can join his team mates on the court.
