ALBURY-WODONGA BANDITS

At the Icehouse Mount Gambier
The Scott’s of Mount Gambier PIONEERS take on the Albury-Wodonga BANDITS this week at the Icehouse on FRIDAY NIGHT.
This is a vital game for the PIONEERS as they are currently 5th place on the ladder and still in the hunt to grab the final spot in the SEABL playoffs.
This Friday night at the Icehouse is sure to showcase some brilliant match-ups. The PIONEERS have Jeffree, Smith, Benjamin & Rice who are all potential match-winners, whilst the BANDITS have star players in Lockett & Williams, plus a group of very improved team players. The BANDITS defeated the PIONEERS earlier in the season in Albury and the PIONEERS will be determined to make sure they grab the win in front of their home crowd. The PIONEERS have had some poor starts recently and will need to be switched on for the full 48 minutes.
Andrew Rice hit form last weekend in Tasmania earning the SEABL Player of the week Award. Rice will need to back the performance up again this week. New captain Dallas Jeffree also had a solid weekend in Tasmania and will again need to make a huge impact and be a strong leader. The Pioneers advantage could come from Shannon Seebohm & Kurt Russell who are both capable of contributing to the scoreboard and will need to do so for the Pioneers to win.
A huge crowd is needed to support the Scott’s of Mount Gambier PIONEERS, which promises to provide some “Electric & Entertaining” basketball this Friday night.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive from 7pm onwards are full canteen and bars facilities will be open.
